3DS: Nintendo talks in Tokyo of colors, and features games (DS)

Lots of news for Nintendo fans from the Tokyo Game Show, after the pre-conference event held in the Japanese giant yesterday. First, owners can record video in 3D 3DS after installing the new update system, which will be available from November.

You can create your own original productions, and show them to other three-dimensional 3D, all without the need to wear special glasses. The system upgrade will also offer other news for those who have passed all the challenges in the Mii Plaza Street Pass.



On 7 October, then, Nintendo will launch the new Nintendo 3DS Red Metallic color you see in the images. Nintendo announces that this is done in conjunction with the launch of achieving the target of one million units sold in Europe 3DS.

Then there is the new accessory circle pad that will add a second analog stick to the handheld console, the PlayStation and then aligning Life, and will introduce two new buttons back. Circle pad will arrive in Japan on December 10, with the launch of Monster Hunt 3G, priced at 1,500 yen (48 euros).


The accessory uses an AAA battery and does not function independently. This is an initial list of titles compatible with the new accessory: Revelations Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, 3D Ace Combat, Dynasty Warriors and Kingdom Hearts vs. 3D, in addition to the aforementioned Monster Hunt 3G.

In winter there are also two brand new Mario titles. Super Mario Land 3-D will debut in Europe on the Nintendo 3DS November 18. In this first Mario platform adventure in true stereoscopic 3D, players can explore the various levels to unearth secrets before you start the game using the Nintendo 3DS integrated gyro. The game will include the functionality Street Pass. Mario Kart 7 will be available from December 2 and will include a new optional mode of driving in first person, which is controlled using the gyroscopic sensor. The title also introduces new characters as playable Lakitu and Metal Mario, and a system of tricks like that of Mario Kart Wii.

As for the planned outputs for 2012, Nintendo has revealed for the first time in 3D Mario Tennis. Also in 2012, will Animal crossing 3D with several new options like the ability to become the head of the village and to improve the development. You can put some items in the village and make it even more personalized and visit the homes of other players met through Street Pass.

In 2012, new chapters will also come to Luigi's Mansion Paper Mario and Kid Icarus Uprising. Nintendo also in development of 3D animations in Kid Icarus will be made available for free via Nintendo Video.
