Windows 8 continues to surprise us. That will reveal that the browser does not support Flash, then leaked information that Windows 8 will support the application of Windows Phone 7 . The new information refers to the file system, called Protogon. We're still in July, saw the future skin short file system, but until recently no one was sure that this is a real file system, rather than some kind of mounted photo, or just a third-party program.
Visually, the system issues a little, but technically it is of great interest. For example, it includes "transaction" operations which are inherent in databases, as well as fields and tables. Remember Win FS project, which eventually failed? Here Protogon is, if not a sibling of the project, it is certainly very similar. Confirmation of the existence Protogon can be obtained by looking at the registry of Windows 8 Developer Preview; there have repeatedly found entries Protogon. Today we know very little about the new file system functionality, one thing is for sure - its potential has not been disclosed, will see in the future, what this beast.
