My dear Zubair,

I received your letter yesterday containing the, dreadful news of your mothers sudden death. It really shocked me. It is really an irreparable loss to you. I am so shocked that i can not find proper words for this great grief. But my friend, it is God's will. Death is a bitter reality for all of us. Man is mortal. We can not do anything against it, because we are helpless in this regard.

Your mother was kind lady. She was an embodiment of purity and greatness. All the people respected her due to her good qualities. May her soul rest in heaven. Dear, it is an unforgettable grief but be brave and try to do your work with effort as it was the wish of your mother. She will be happy in the other world when you will become a doctor.

I shall be soon with you after my home test. Pay my regards to your father.

Your Sincerely,

August 25, 2011.

My dear Son,

I received your letter yesterday that brought a good news about your better health after your long illness. I, also received your result card from the college office that shows a poor result. I know that all it is due to your illness. I also know that your will not disappoint me in future and try to make up your deficiency with hard work.

Now, you are grown up and you must be fully aware of your duties and responsibilities. I consider it necessary that your should always keep in mind certain things.

Your should remain in the company of intelligent and hardworking boys because a man is known by the company he keeps. Character building, is the basic need of education. I advise you to avoid the company of bad boys.

Your first aim must be to get education with distinction. Read attentively and always listen to the lectures of your teacher with full attention. Prepare your own notes and avoid cramming. Revise your lessons daily and try to understand them. If anything is not clear, take the help of your teachers again. Always show great respect to you teachers.

Love from your mother, brother and sister.

Yours affectionately,
X.Y.Z
