Sega made it known that the dune buggy used by Gordon Freeman in Half-Life 2 will be present in the Steam version of Renegade Ops, which will be available from 14 October at a price of € 12.99. The buggy will challenge the enemies on Renegade Ops as did the ant lion Freeman in Half-Life 2.
"Working with the team of Steam and Half-Life makes this game special," says John Clark, director of PC Digital. "Gordon Freeman is one of the most famous of the gaming universe and we are very proud to have him in Renegade Ops".
Renegade Ops is an interesting shooter with a bird's eye view developed by Avalanche Studios, best known for the series Just Cause. The game puts in the shoes of a special unit sent behind enemy lines to knock out Inferno, a shady individual with ambition for global domination.
During the operations you can use a wide range of vehicles and firearms, while deciding whether to take part in single-player action, use the support of a friend via split-screen or online co-op participate in the company other three users.
Renegade Ops is the first step of Avalanche Studios in the world of digital download games and is competitive based on proprietary technology Avalanche Studios already seen in Just Cause 2. It will be released in September on Steam, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network
