Intel seems to prepare some of his solutions Atom in order to properly support Android: This feature, however, will not arrive before next year. This has already been successfully used by some developers; the Google Mobile OS with the Intel Atom is the basis of Google TV. This support is however not yet officially handled by the chip manufacturer.
In a promotional video appeared online, Intel talks about his series Atom E600 and indicates that, among the different technologies, there is room for the support of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. At the moment it is unclear whether this support will be extended to models of the Atom family Oak trail Cedar Trail.
The interesting thing is that the devices Google TV could already run on Honeycomb when Intel will release the support for the build Gingerbread. Even Logitech, according to some recent rumors, it would begin testing on their own Android 3.1 solution Box Revue, based on Atom.
