Fuji film Fine Pix X100 certainly has an unquestionable merit: he brought public attention to the lines' vintage '. After the arrival of the compact market with APS-C and fixed lens 35mm camera equivalent of the mechanical style of the past has returned to vogue, pushing, apparently, other manufacturers on the same street.
It seems that Samsung wants to ride the wave with a vintage mirror less next, while aiming to bring the dimensions close to those of the premium compact, such as those of a reference market, Canon G12. For now it's just rumors, but the speed with which Samsung has stepped in to make them disappear from sites that were reported may be an interesting indicator of truthfulness.
It speaks of a very compact metal body, retro style like that of X100, and phase detection auto focus APS-C CMOS sensor 24 mega pixels. It is not entirely clear whether this is a camera with interchangeable lens or not: if you really were the size of a compact premium would be a good result to find a spot for the union Samsung NX system. The rumors also describe the likely price, in direct competition with the X100 at just under 1000 €.
