"We always wanted to do an FPS," says Neil McEwen, game director for Syndicate. "The original idea was to capture the essence of the Syndicate and the first focus of an agent in the head. Being one of the agents will have a more immersive experience." Star breeze try this to explain why the choice of making a first-person shooter Syndicate.
Despite the change of gender, Star breeze want to strive to remain as faithful as possible to the original. "We're huge fans of the original Syndicate and we want to pay homage to this glorious game in any way possible," says McEwen. "All the elements that fans have remained loyal, as the Persuadatron (the instrument that allowed agents to brainwash the civilians and cause them to stand on your side note), weapons and brutality of the Syndicate, will be back in new evolved version game.”
"The fidelity will be maintained in the case of the single-player game in co-op. We are very fortunate to work with a universe so appealing and create a different facet. I hope people appreciate our game, but nothing can please to all. "
Syndicate will be released in early 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
