In the chapter about the small
Tibetan people of Hunza, we have seen an example of a healthy diet, and called
it complete.
Applying the definition of
"complete", we thus want to say that in the diet should contain all
the elements, without exception, who make a full-fledged food and proper
amounts, but no frills.
Ideally it should be a goal of each
diet. This is always eager followers of natural therapy.
To achieve adequate nutrition, it is
necessary to comply with the six basic conditions.
First. Getting just the right amount
of food (people tend to eat more than the body needs).
Second. The diet must be observed
equilibrium between proteins, fats and carbohydrates (usually proteins in our food
anymore).
Third. Drink necessary amount of
liquid (usually an insufficient number of drinking water and very little
juice).
Fourth. Vegetables should be
included in the food composition, together with those parts that contain
mineral salts and vitamins (skin, bran, seeds), as well as some other important
elements.
Fifth. The diet should contain a
maximum of vitamins and mineral salts.
Sixth. Plant products must be
obtained from the fertile soil in which there are all the natural elements, and
not with the exploitation of depleted soils.
For the growth and renewal of the
body, maintaining the vitality needed to foods containing proteins, fats,
carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins.
Proteins - the building material of
the body and the most important part of the cells that form the fabric of our
body. They are involved in the formation of substances, without which the life
of the organism is impossible.
Most of the protein found in milk,
eggs, cheese and legumes, meat, fish, wheat, rye, barley, oats, buckwheat,
rice, maize, millet, nuts.
Fats are of great energy value. They
can be called fuel human body. Excess fat is accumulated in different parts of
the body. Fats are also involved in many vital processes. Excessive fat intake
has an adverse effects on the body. Vegetable oil is absorbed better than pork,
beef or sheep fat.
Carbohydrates are actively involved
in metabolic processes. However, excessive use of harmful for the body.
Carbohydrates contained in cereals, and in vegetables, fruits and milk.
Water, sun and air, is essential to
the human body. Without it, life is impossible. All processes in the body take
place in an aqueous medium. With water in the body receives a number of mineral
salts and other necessary substances. With water derived metabolic products.
