We talked a couple of weeks ago: Razor makes its way into the world of portable gaming presenting Blade , a mega-portable 17.3-inch screen with solutions designed to meet the demanding gamer. Already looking at the specs, though, the new laptop does not seem to do much of last generation hardware, the technology Switchblade to best suit the needs "practice" of the gamer.
Then we find a monitor / touch pad extra, just to the right of the keyboard, able to adapt dynamically based on the running game, including 10 buttons into consumers, they also adaptable. The monitor / touchpad LCD with 480 x 800 has two operating modes: when the mouse is in use shows information from the game, but when the mouse is not connected to the system is transformed into a new way of interfacing, or in a panel multi-touch.
Specifications are those already described on these pages: 2640m Intel Core i7 2.8GHz, 8GB of DDR3 memory, NVIDIA GeForce GPUs with 2GB GDDR5 555m and 17.3-inch panel with a really high resolution, 1920x1080 pixels.
Present at IDF in San Francisco, we did not miss the opportunity to get their hands on this portable discussed. The first impression is of being in front of a monitor really well done, with a yield of color and a very good viewing angle. The Switchblade section there seemed to expectations, while the PC is generally lighter than they are solutions of gaming competition of similar features.
There remains some concern about internal hardware equipment (chassis nothing to say, seems to be in front of a Mac Book Pro in black robes), in consideration of the purchase price of 2799.00 dollars, confermatoci here at IDF. A figure that seems excessive, even considering the impeccable construction, the excellent panel and the Switchblade integration Della technology.
