Last week we dealt with this news, to analyze the operation of the new browser interface optimized for Metro. As we have stated on numerous occasions, and it should be remembered, in Windows 8 there are two versions of the browser: an optimized interface and an underground classic for the Desktop. The two browsers behave like two different components. The browser interface is optimized for Metro HTML5 and supports, in any way, additional third-party plug ins. Translated into practical terms: no support for the Flash player.
Adobe, on its official blog, by 'an explanation and explains how technology will flash does not cut off. As reported by the company, in fact, flash will be supported by Metro through Adobe AIR development platform makes it possible to manage content on multiple platforms without compatibility issues. As is true today for Android, iPhone OS and Blackberry tomorrow will be for Windows 8.
Adobe takes an example Machineries, one of the most downloaded app from the App Store of Apple and that has been developed in Flash. In his post Adobe try this to explain why the company is going to provide solutions that allow developers to create interactive content that are highly compatible: for this to work with companies like Microsoft and Apple, as well as HTML with the community, continues.
What emerges, on balance, is the abandonment of the flash player: optimized solutions with little computing power contained, is not able to provide a proper user experience. Adobe has to adapt so well and follow HTML5.
